This well respected local government department are responsible for a variety of Environmental issues including a large Environmental Health division delivering positive health outcomes to the region.

Due to internal movements our client now requires experienced Environmental Officers to join their busy team.

Utilising your highly developed communication skills along with your solid understanding of local legislation you will complete assessments, inspections, environmental health monitoring and the delivery of educational programs. You will have demonstrated skills and experience responding to public queries and complaints and provide high level specialist advice to all those involved.
Your attention to detail and positive attitude towards customer satisfaction will guarantee your success.

Essential to your success is a degree in Environmental Health allowing admission as a full member of the Australian Institute of Environmental Health along with demonstrated experience in a similar role.

Offered initially on a contract basis this role has potential to become permanent for the right person.
