Our client is a very busy government department responsible for the Environmental Management of various construction projects including roads, waterways, wharves, piers etc. A highly respected and well known organisation leading the way in Project Management and innovati ve and practical solutions to a variety of Environmental Issues.

Due to looming project delivery dates our client now requires an Environmental Management Officer to join their busy team.

You will be responsible for conducting initial Environmental Assessments, EIA‘s and EIS‘s along with requesting the necessary permits required for work to proceed. You will contribute to the preparation of Environmental Management Plans and posses valuable auditing skills. Essential to the role is a degree qualification in Environmental Science plus confident communication skills and enthusiasm to assist in the development of the teams skills

This is offered as an initial 6 month contract with an opportunity for an ongoing role
