Highly regarded and long established, this food processing operation has made considerable investment in the upgrade to plant and equipment over recent years. In support of this investment the company now wants to look at internal process improvements. The company, a major supplier of a quality p roduct to major and specialty retailers, has a turnover of $150m and employs in excess of 400 people. Growth has been achieved through a continuing focus on customer service and ongoing quality improvements and efficiencies across the operation.

Working closely with production management and several other supervisors within the business you will manage a shift of approximately sixty staff in a particular area of the plant. This will be through leading hands reporting to you with a focus of looking to improve processes and efficiencies within your area. This is a NON rotating shift environment with a regular work pattern. The company is also investing in up skilling and training staff to groom more potential managers from within the business over the coming years.

Experience as a Supervisor within a fast paced production environment is sought. This role should appeal if you seek to step into a larger role with a focus on ongoing improvements and investment in staff where you feel this has been your strength in your current or previous roles.
