In ten years this group has grown tenfold, employs 60 staff across two states and has just relocated the Brisbane head operation to new premises. Focusing on the management of approximately 25 staff, machining components and fabricating subassemblies to exacting standards, this role reports to the General Manager and works closely with the senior management team. This operation, recently ISO 9001 accredited, undertakes slitting and gluing of timber and specialised industrial papers, as well as the machining of rigid laminate products in the fabrication of sub-assemblies for major industrial customers. The opportunity to create further production efficiencies and contribute to longer term operational gains also exists.

Experience in managing and developing staff in a high-precision production/fabrication operation is sought. An appropriate qualification will be highly regarded. It will, however, be your rigorous approach to teamwork and continuous improvement that has probably given you job satisfaction in the past.
