Due to expanding business operations a skilled IT professional is being sought to provide technical Pre-Sales expertise to the corporate sales team and liaise on design and delivery with the projects team.

In this position you will be expected to provide technical tendering assistance to the sales team and propose IT solution design for new and existing clients. Further to supporting the internal sales team you will be required to maintain existing customer relations and identify opportunities for new product development. You will also support performance development system activities and assist with relevant training and growth activities as required. This role will sit between the sales team and the technical teams acting in Pre-Sales and Solution Architecture capacity for network and data centre platforms.

To be considered for this role you must have experience with Cisco routers/ switches and carrier technologies. A knowledge of software development language including Java, PHP, HTML and Perl and experience with network protocols such as TCP/IP are additional prerequisites for the job. Strong interpersonal communication skills are additional requirements expected of the successful applicant as the role requires regular liaisons with a variety of internal and external stakeholders as well as frequent visiting’s to data centres and occasional inter and intra state travel.
