Business Services Manager
Develop your career in this high profile position while gaining a thorough knowledge of the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) business. This role will give you the opportunity to build relationships and network with stakeholders of all levels within the organisation.
Work within a branch that is responsible for leadership, strategy and delivery of ICT services across the organisation. This branch has a strategic and operational role to ensure Brisbane City Council achieves its organisational goals.
As the Business Services Manager, you will provide specialised services across a broad range of areas. These services include financial management, business planning, performance improvement and human resource management.
This will include:
- managing the operational business planning process including developing and monitoring key performance indicators
- reporting, workforce planning, performance management and business improvement
- ensuring operational business systems and processes are developed, implemented and maintained
- contributing to the financial management of the branch.
To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in business performance, financial and human resource management. You will combine this knowledge with experience in managing the delivery of these services from third parties (for example Shared Services).
Experience working within the ICT industry would be highly regarded.
