The South East Queensland Operating Centre currently has an opportunity for a Strategic Asset Management Consultant to join our Brisbane CBD operations. Our Asset & Risk Management team focuses on leveraging and adding value to GHD's strong technical capabilities by offering clients strategic advice related to the management of their assets.  GHD's client base includes local government, government authorities, utility companies, ports, road and rail organisations.
 
GHD has played a leading role in the development and growth of asset management practices for many years and is readily acknowledged as being a world leader in the field. 
The suitable applicant will have relevant tertiary qualifications, combined with a minimum of 7 years in strategic consulting, ideally in engineering, management consultancy or asset management.
As a Principal within the team, the successful candidate will have extensive experience working with local government, utilities or the transportation sectors and be able to undertake:

• Development of Strategic Asset Management Frameworks


• Asset management reviews and benchmarking


• Asset management plan development and reviews


• Implementation plans and support


• Economic evaluation and analysis


• Condition and performance assessments


• Valuations


• Capital program evaluations


• Maintenance management


• Information system strategies and implementation


• Risk assessment and evaluation

As an integral part of the Asset Management team, you will play an active role in a variety of asset management projects working within a multidisciplinary consultancy environment. You will also be expected to play a key role in business development from pursuing marketing opportunities to securing projects.
