As an established consultancy with a dynamic and growing Resources Group our Dams team is seeking a suitably qualified Senior Civil Engineer (min 10 years experience) to join the Brisbane office. Leading and supporting a wide range of civil projects within a multidisciplinary environment, you will be responsible for supporting external client projects as well as a number of internal GHD client groups. 
 
The role will see you managing and supporting a wide range of projects including alumina plant residue dam design, tailings and water dam design, plant layout, civil services design for projects in the mining and mineral processing industry and other general civil engineering infrastructure projects.
 
The suitable candidate will have experience in:

• Design and/or management of civil engineering infrastructure projects, ideally with experience supervising earthworks and construction activities  


• Dams or tailings management and design (beneficial)


• Preparing proposals, cost control of projects and liaising with clients


• Building client relationships and obtaining new business where possible 


• Advanced report writing skills


• Developing and mentoring junior engineers
