The role which has become available would be working in a team managing life insurance appl ications from initial stages through to completion. The role is quite varied and would involve communicating with a variety of people, ranging from financial planners through to doctors to obtain medical reports.
As mentioned the role is varied but would include the following responsibilities;

  • Processing applications for Life, Temporary or Permanent Disability (TPD), Income Protection and Medical Recovery.
  • Manage client/adviser expectation working within timeframes.
  • Take end to end view of case management (application and underwriting progress)
  • Answering Inbound and making outbound calls
  • Issuing of medical evidence

The skills which we would look for are;

  • Insurance qualifications - Tier 2, but preferable Tier 1.
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Tertiary studies favourable
  • Good attention to detail
